The Bible in the order it happened
Read or listen to the whole story, Genesis to Revelation, in the order events took place. The Psalms and prophets are woven in right where they were written.
One story, from beginning to end
Most Bibles are arranged by type of book. Chronicle follows the timeline, so you see how it all fits together.

Read it, or have it read to you
Go through the whole Bible in chronological order, one passage at a time. Tap play and it's narrated: the ESV by a real Crossway narrator, and the BSB, KJV and ASV in a recorded voice.
- Picks up where you left off, down to the second
- Reading speed from 0.7× to 2×
- Each new book is announced as you reach it
- Four translations: ESV, BSB, KJV and ASV

Look up any passage, or listen to a book straight through
Type "John 3:16" or "Ps 23" to follow along in church. Or pick any book and tap play to hear it start to finish, chapter after chapter.
- Book listening keeps its own bookmark: "Continue listening · Romans 5"
- Never moves your place in the chronological reading
- The words of Jesus in red, if you like

See how Scripture speaks to itself
Every cross-reference in the Bible, over 58,000 of them, drawn as one rainbow across all 1,189 chapters. Tap a chapter to light up its threads, then tap a verse to read the passages it points to.
While you read, the most-connected verses can be tinted so you can follow them without losing your place.

Doctrine, explained plainly, with the real sources beneath
Pick a topic like grace, the Trinity or baptism. You get a clear explanation, followed by the actual words of the historic creeds and confessions, each cited to its source.
Where Christians disagree, it shows each tradition in its own words rather than picking a side.

Questions
Which translations are included?
Four today: the English Standard Version (ESV), the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), the King James Version (KJV) and the American Standard Version (ASV). You can switch any time.
Who chose the chronological order?
The order follows when events happened, with the Psalms, prophets and letters placed where they were written. Where scholars aren't sure of a placement, the app says so.
Does it work offline?
Not fully yet. Reading and listening need an internet connection today. Downloading books to listen offline is planned.
Is my place saved?
Yes. Chronicle remembers your passage and the exact spot in the narration, and book listening keeps its own separate bookmark.
Can I cancel anytime?
At launch, yes: you'll be able to cancel Premium anytime, and you'll keep it until the end of the period you paid for.
Is it on the App Store or Google Play?
Not yet. Today it runs in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Start at the beginning
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Read or listen, one passage at a time.
